ACT Theatre 2010-11 Specials
We are fortunate to have the ACT Theatre, a community-based black box theatre in neighboring Elkhorn City, Kentucky, only seven miles from Breaks Park. From side-splitting comedy to heart wrenching dramas, ACT theatre offers something for everyone. Rich in talent, and overseen by a veteran producer, the ACT Theatre is a true gem offering performances throughout most of the year. We know park guests will truly enjoy an evening out to the theatre!

*Food allowances will be provided to customer in form of a gift certificate; any amount more than the allowance that is spent, must be paid out of pocket by the customer. Food allowances do not include gratuity.
**ACT Theatre only offers performances Thursday through Sunday. Performances are at 7:30 each night except Sunday, when there is a 3:00 matinee. Performances are scheduled daily Thursday through Sunday during most of the year. However, there are periods of time during the year that no performances are scheduled. Check Theatre schedule for performances dates.

A Few Good Men
October 21 – November 14, 2010
Naval Lawyer Lt. Daniel Kaffee is assigned to defend two Marines accused of murdering a fellow soldier. When the Marines reveal that the murder occurred during a hazing ritual called a "Code Red," Kaffee is challenged to find a way to offer proof that a renowned Colonel ordered the action.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

When the infamous, rowdy Herdman children take over the church Christmas pageant, everyone's traditional notions of Christmas are challenged. See how a story can transform us all, even when told by a group of misfit kids in bedsheets. Based on the classic book by Barbara Robinson.

The Miracle Worker
May 12 – June 5, 2011
The touching, true story of Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan. Keller became deaf and blind after a childhood illness, but learns language and so much more thanks to Sullivan.
The Foreigner
July 7 – July 31, 2011
Charlie and Froggy arrive at a lodge in rural Georgia for a fishing trip, but Charlie can't overcome his shyness to interact with any of the other folks vacationing there. See the chaos and comedy that ensues after Froggy convinces everyone that Charlie is a "Foreigner," who can't speak English. It's all the prompting they need to begin spilling their deepest secrets to him.
Shows are scheduled Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm. Sunday shows are held at 3:00 pm.
