Do the family cooks want a vacation, too? The Rhododendron Restaurant offers a broad menu selection along with breathtaking views of the gorge from our floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition to the main dining area, a banquet room is available for meetings and group gatherings. Or if you want a very private gathering, the restaurant can cater an event anywhere within the park.

The restaurant will open for the 2017 season on Friday, March 31. Hours of operation are as follows:

March 31 – May 25

Monday – Thursday: Closed

Friday – Saturday: 7 am to 9 pm

Sunday: 7 am to 8 pm

May 26 – September 4

Daily from 7 am to 9 pm

Tuesday after Labor Day – October 29

Monday – Tuesday: Closed

Wednesday – Thursday: 11 am to 8 pm

Friday – Saturday: 7 am to 9 pm

The Rhododendron Conference Center offers 6,000 square feet of flexible meeting space suitable for any gathering from wedding receptions to banquets, meetings, or parties of any size. The space can be divided into three separate rooms and can accommodate up to 525 people, depending on the set-up of the room. Another smaller meeting room is available adjacent to the Rhododendron Restaurant. Buffet menus for the weekend of Friday, May 26th, 2017 to Sunday, May 28th, 2017 are:

Friday dinner: Grilled Chicken, Meat Loaf, Roasted Red Potatoes, Fried Rice, Green Beans, Vegetable Sticks, Full Salad Bar, and Dessert.

Saturday lunch: Chicken Tenders, Ham, Scallop Potatoes, Baked Beans, Macaroni and Cheese, Yams, Full Salad Bar, and Dessert.

Saturday dinner: Lasagna, Turkey and Gravy, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Corn Nuggets, Steamed Vegetables, Peas and Pearl Onions, Full Salad Bar, and Dessert.

Sunday lunch: Pot Roast with Vegetables, Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Sugar Snap Peas, Citrus Green Beans and Rice, Hush Puppies, Popcorn Shrimp, Full Salad Bar, and Dessert.

Sunday Dinner: Ribs and Potatoes, Chicken Livers, Brown Beans, Okra, Sauerkraut, Mustard Greens, Full Salad Bar, and Dessert.

Saturday and Sunday lunch buffets run from 11am-4pm. Regular evening buffets on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday run from 4pm-8pm.

Friday and Saturday dinner buffets are $12.95 for ages 11 and up, $7.95 for ages 4–10, free for ages 3 and under, drink included. Saturday breakfast and lunch buffets are $9.95 for ages 11 and up, $6.95 for ages 4–10, free for ages 3 and under, drink not included. Sunday lunch and dinner buffets are $13.95 for ages 11 and up, $7.95 for ages 4–10, free for ages 3 and under, drink included.
