Breaks Interstate Park debuts new Annual Pass
Breaks, VA – Beginning March 23, the Breaks Park will offer an Annual Pass to park-goers which will offer many special incentives, including free front gate entry, as well as discounts at the campground, gift shop, pool, golf carts, and pedal boats.
“Pass holders will love it,” said Breaks Park Superintendent Matthew O’Quinn, “They’ll be able to drive up to the gate, show their Annual Pass and go right on in. They’ll also enjoy the savings it will provide inside the park,” he said.
Discounts for pass holders are valid for one year from the date of purchase and include the following incentives: free front gate entry, $1 off campsites, $1 off entrance to the pool, $1 off pedal boat rides, $10 off golf cart rentals Monday through Thursday, and 10 percent off purchases at the gift shop.
O’Quinn noted that when the park opens this spring, patrons will notice a new $2 gate fee. He said although the increase was minimal, it could add up after a few visits. “[That’s] why we thought it would be important to offer this pass,” said O’Quinn, “With all the discounts it offers, the savings will add up quickly. It’s really a great value,” he added.
The Annual Pass may be purchased at the Visitor’s Center and in the Gift Shop in the Rhododendron Lodge.
