The Center Creek trail is a short 1/2 mile trail that can be accessed from Route 80 outside the main park, just across the Kentucky state line. The trail offers hikers the opportunity to experience a miniature canyon that Center Creek has carved out over the years.

However, hikers should be cautious when attempting this trail. It is recommended that hikers avoid this trail during winter months and not attempt it when it is raining or wet. The trail features multiple stream crossings that require navigation over slippery rock ledges, and many hikers have been injured while attempting to cross the streams.

Hikers can choose to make it an out-and-back one-mile trip or wade across Grassy Creek to the intersection with the Bottom of the Breaks Trail. It's important to exercise caution and good judgment when attempting this trail, as it can be dangerous in certain conditions
