Water is released from the dam upstream, making the Russell Fork roar. The water is released during the first four weekends in October and makes it a fun and challenging ride for whitewater pros. This is not for inexperienced riders.

If you aren’t interested in riding the river, you can watch people ride it from the overlooks in the park.
